Tetsuo (by Ben Krefta)

 

    Very original in its approach to a piece of fanart- layout wise it reminds me of a
'character shrine' picture, and the colour scheme is fresh.

    
Technique: Experimenting  with a fresh graphical approach, Ben wanted to
get away from his usual CGing  of a pen drawing. With the Tetsuo pic scanned
to Photoshop, he made the pic up from scratch with nothing particular in mind
but a gold identity. 
    Ben makes extensive use of  layers, shape and colour; I think the translucent
pictogram looks very effective-  adds depth
