Clown Gang member pre-production sequence.

Several pictures from the sequence of the Clown being chased by Tetsuo and Kai
through the alleyway alongside the Chinese restaurant. Can you spot the body part(s)
among the rubbish? This was cunningly included in the final movie too. ^__^

Seeing these drawings really helps to understand just how much work goes into
making an anime. For us to see the final image on screen, storyboards, model
sheets, sketches, genga and douga all had to be created beforehand. Since Otomo
storyboarded the whole feature himself, you can imagine the effort that went into
his production.
