Two American-released Akira Press Kit Photographs used for promotion of the film.

Both 10" X 8" sheets are on glossy photographic paper and depict some key images
from the movie. On the second photo you'll notice the now-famous picture of Kaneda
standing over Neo-Tokyo brandishing the laser gun. This picture has been used for
the front cover of the UK dub video release and the first mass-produced Akira poster
design in the west.
Released by CFP Distribution, I have no idea how many prints were made but I
assume that there were no more than 100 because they appear to be from original
negatives. These prints were sent to selected journalists perhaps as general
promotion and/or for print alongside written reviews of the movie.
